Let me tell you a story about a brand named TRUE, a brand born from faith, resilience, and the unwavering belief that nobody stops you but you.

My journey with this brand started long before I ever thought about opening a store. It started with a five-year-old boy lacing up his football cleats for the first time, and a mother's promise whispered in his ear: "Nobody stops you, but you." The boy was my son, and those words became the foundation of our everything both in life and sports.

His teammates eventually gave him a nickname, shortening his last name of Trueblood, it grew on me too, calling him,True. At first, it was just what they called him on the field. But over time, it became so much more. It became a reflection of who he is when I think of him and the man he is becoming: resilient, determined, and grounded in faith.

Life tested that truth in ways I never could have imagined. In 2023, we the loss of his father suddenly. The grief was overwhelming, the kind that shakes your foundation. The weight of losing his dad who was his best friend could have broken us, but we held onto what we'd always known: Nobody Stops You But You.

During his junior year of high school, True faced a health scare that threatened to derail his football season entirely. The doctors ran test after test, searching for answers. But we prayed. We kept the faith. And we believed that God wouldn't bring us through the fire just to leave us in the ashes.

When the doctors finally realized what we already knew in our hearts that God had protected him from a diagnoses of diabetes in any form, I told him that when people ask, how True? You tell them, it was God. True Story. That's when TRUE became more than just a nickname. It became our testimony. Listen, his body tried it again, earlier this year in January on the exact same day, same day of the week, length of hospital stay, discharged same day, and same day of the week, exactly 8 months later. Same God, same prayers, same tests, and same results. True Story. We are still seeking answers to what has caused this episodes, but in the mean time, True is not stopping. Oh, I forgot to say, he missed one practice that summer, went from a starter to 3rd on the depth chart until his name was called and he delivered. True helped his team secure a ticket to the state championship game during the playoff run and there on the big screen on championship day for the starting defense was his name. True Story. This was a tremendous reminder that "Nobody Stops You But You."

TRUE is for every mom who's held her child through uncertainty and whispered prayers in the dark through the tears. It's for every dad who's taught his kids that obstacles are just opportunities to prove what they're made of. It's for every coach who believes in building character alongside athletic ability. It's for every athlete who's faced a setback and refused to stay down. It's for every family that's leaned on faith when the world felt too heavy. It's for every friend who showed up when it mattered most. And it's for every fan who understands that sports are about so much more than wins and losses, but they're about the journey, the growth, and the grace that carries us through.

This brand exists to celebrate those moments. The victories on the field and the victories in life. The reminders we all need when doubt creeps in. The truth that we are stronger than we think, braver than we believe, and never alone in our struggles.
